About Us

Our journey and testimony are why we are here; to share how God has brought us through different seasons of our journey and some of the tools and concepts that have sustained us along the way. More than 25 years in a relationship and 16 years of marriage have been the foundation of what we continue to hear God speaking to us about supporting couples in marriage. From parenthood & family dynamics, to finances and health challenges, we continue to discover that marriage is a journey, not the destination. With that said, this is totally God’s plan and we are just glad to be along for the ride, because we know that His plans are greater!

We started out with small group meetings to create a safe space for engaged and married couples to encourage each other to grow in their relationships. As that endeavor expanded, we were blessed with the opportunity to become officiants and support couples starting out on their marital journey. We continue this work today as certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) facilitators. From this, The Millennium Marriage Podcast was developed to be a resource for couples to reflect on challenges and strengths that make them who they are and learn how to grow deeper in their relationship.

Keeping God at the center of our marriage is and will always be the sharpest tool in the shed. Because of this, we’ve discovered some other essential strategies that are necessary to ensure that our marriage endures the test of time and is a reflection of Christ and His church. Ultimately, we want a marriage that will last a lifetime, hence the name Millennium Marriage, and we want to support other couples as they navigate through what it takes to make marriage work the way God intended!
